The Linen Project is announcing the first workshop in a series of workshops as part of The Linen Project Winter: Meet the Master (Flax) Spinning. This one-day workshop is the opportunity to learn and master the finer points of hand spinning under the guidance of two highly experienced spinners. It is suitable for beginners and for advanced participants who seek to work with flax fibres. Participants learning to hand spin for the first time will begin with wool. Dependent on progress and experience, you may continue on with flax (linen) on the spindle or on the spinning wheel. Practice makes the master!

You can enrol by sending an email to willemien@craftscouncil.nl, keep in mind that the places are limited to 12 participants. To those of you who contributed during the harvest activities, we are offering the student rate as a token of gratitude.

The participation costs are 75 EUR; for students and The Linen Project participants, it is 50 EUR.
